Revised yardstick for BHUs / RHCs / THQs / Trauma Centers (Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department)

The Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department – P&SHD – revised the yardstick for BHUs / RHCs / THQs / Trauma Centers and increased the number of clinical and non-clinical seats. This initiative aims to improve the quality of services provided throughout the province. Following new seats has been recommended at centres:

Gynaecologist & Nurses at BHUs
Gynaecologist, Physician, ENT, Eye Specialist & Surgeons at RHCs.
The number of seats of Medical Officers and Women Medical Officers has been increased at all centres.
The number of Specialist seats also have been increased at THQs.
